The Coagulation Laboratory, an extensive regional testing facility, provides specialty coagulation services, including medical consultation, testing, and education. We offer a comprehensive testing menu that helps clinicians in the diagnosis and treatment of coagulopathies.


The Therapeutic Hemapheresis department consists of a specialized nursing team offering local hospitals the only around-the-clock therapeutic blood product exchanges for life-threatening disease processes. Outpatient services for therapeutic phlebotomy, blood transfusion, and intravenous gamma globulin infusions are also provided.
ITxM Diagnostics, a business unit of The Institute for Transfusion MedicineSM, consists of a Coagulation Laboratory, a Therapeutic Hemapheresis department and a Hemostasis & Thrombosis Clinic. They work with physicians and institutions to draw upon all of the resources of ITxMSM. Its primary function is to provide diagnostic, consultative and educational support for referral tests in the areas of hemostasis and thrombosis.
